Biography
Bruce Saber is counsel in Herrick's Real Estate Department, where he focuses on private equity investments, acquisitions/dispositions and leasing. Bruce's real estate career spans more than 30 years, working in law firms as well as real estate development and investment companies. Bruce has represented privately held and institutional clients on a broad range of real estate transactions. His work on behalf of family offices, development companies, real estate funds, investment banks, tenants and educational institutions have involved all asset classes, including office, hospitality, industrial centers, self-storage facilities and schools throughout the United States.
Before joining Herrick, Bruce was a partner at Fried Frank Harris, Arnold & Porter and DLA Piper. He served as a managing director in the Merchant Banking group at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was general counsel for the real estate funds, including the Whitehall Funds. He was also general counsel and senior managing director of Tishman Speyer Properties and general counsel and executive vice president of Monday Properties.
Bruce is a member of the board and serves on the executive committee of Seeds of Peace and is a board member of Central Queens Academy Charter School. He previously served as a member of the board and executive committee of Legal Services NYC.
