Dan Etna discussed Hurricane Irma’s impact on the series of Tampa Bay Rays - New York Yankees games scheduled for September 11-13 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL. As part of a Major League Baseball-brokered arrangement, the games were moved to Citi Field in New York, with the Rays as the home team. Dan said, “Aside from paying the Mets the operational costs of turning the lights on, the balance of the ticket revenue will go to the Rays.”
