In his weekly Realty Law Digest column (subscription required), Scott Mollen analyzes two notable case. In Bpark v. Durena, the court found the landlord's extensive evidence proved that the tenants engaged in profiteering (via Airbnb) by renting out the apartment to short-term vacationers. In 504 Associates v. Nason, the court held that the expiration of the original lease ends the guarantor's obligation.
