In his weekly Realty Law Digest column (subscription required), Scott Mollen analyzes two notable cases. In Commerce Street Professional Center v. Connolly, the court held that a guarantor is not liable for obligations arising from lease extension which lengthened the term, increased the square footage and rent and changed a security provision. In Board of Managers of the 125 North 10th Condominium v. 125 North 10, LLC., the court dismissed claims against a management company for breach of contract, breach of express warranty and negligence and strict liability.
