In his weekly Realty Law Digest column (subscription required), Scott Mollen analyzes two notable cases. In 3660 Oxford Avenue Asso v. Ambrosini, the court held that a tenant was entitled to a 20 percent abatement for her expenditures on kitchen repairs but no reimbursement for new wood floors and a nicer stove than the one offered by the landlord. In MG West 100 LLC v. St. Michael's Protestant Episcopal Church, the court denied specific performance and injunctive relief for defendants in a dispute over the sale of church property.
