How Trump Could Shake up Real Estate Finance
Richard Morris was quoted in The Real Deal regarding how President-elect Trump’s potential policy plans could impact real estate financing. With SEC Chair Mary Jo White recently stepping down, Trump will be responsible for appointing a replacement. Morris noted that White left her mark on real estate finance in two ways; by enforcing actions against financial misconduct by individual firms and by rolling out crowdfunding rules. Morris told the publication that the “record number of enforcement actions” White has overseen could change under Trump’s administration.
