Ray Hannigan was quoted in Crain’s New York Business about how Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump acted following his unsuccessful attempt to use litigation to break the Empire State Building's long-term lease. Ray said that Trump, whom he later represented in the historic 2002 sale of the Empire State Building, "was more gracious and generous about the whole thing than people might think," a type of response that shows that Trump could be much more flexible about foreign affairs and negotiations than his presidential campaign suggests.
