Jonathan Adler is a partner in Herrick's Litigation Department, where he concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, employment-related litigation and regulatory enforcement proceedings.
Jonathan routinely counsels clients in the healthcare, energy, financial services, media, sports and real estate industries, among other industry sectors, on a full range of employment-related matters, and has significant experience in wage and hour litigation, including multi-plaintiff and class and collective cases involving exemption, off-the-clock and pay practice claims.
Jonathan is routinely called on to represent clients in federal and state courts throughout the U.S. and in investigations and dealings with federal and state administrative and regulatory agencies, including the SEC, CFTC; the Offices of the U.S. Attorney and State Attorneys General; as well as self-regulatory agencies such as FINRA. Where warranted, instead of litigating, he also counsels his clients through alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediation and arbitration.
Jonathan is a member of Herrick's Title Insurance Litigation group, in which capacity he counsels and represents the major title insurance companies doing business in the New York metropolitan area on coverage issues. Additionally, he is co-chair of Herrick's electronic discovery committee.
