In an article about the decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to reject claims by a number of defrauded Madoff investors Herrick, Feinstein Partner Howard R. Elisofon, who represented a group of the plaintiffs, described how his clients had been wronged by both Madoff and the SEC. "We recognized that challenging the SEC would be difficult, but this was a case that needed to be fought," he said.
