Hanh Huynh counsels debtors, creditors and other parties in interest in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.
He has advised clients in a variety of industries, from financial services, to manufacturing, to real estate. His representations have included debtors in single asset real estate cases, a national industrial laundry service in its chapter 11 case, a chemical cleaner and brush manufacturing debtor in chapter 11, and the acquirer of over 30 multifamily properties in Harlem in a pre-negotiated chapter 11 case that resulted in a confirmed chapter 11 plan transferring properties to client.
Hanh has advised lenders, creditors and interested parties in numerous large chapter 11 cases, including General Growth Properties, Inc., Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, M. Fabrikant & Sons, Inc., and Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, Inc. He has also represented chapter 11 debtors in numerous successful reorganizations, including Northwest Airlines, Inc., The Fuller Brush Company, Inc., Ultra Stores, Inc., and 400 East 51st Street, LLC.
Prior to joining Herrick in 2009, Hanh was an associate in the financial restructuring department at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.
